About HearSay

"HearSay with Cathy Lewis" is the only locally produced, public affairs radio call-in program in Hampton Roads. Every Monday through Friday, we reach more than 35,000 listeners, from Richmond to the Outer Banks.

What is a “Spotlight”?
The Spotlight is a 3-5 minute live interview over the phone at the end of HearSay (during 12:50pm - 12:58pm ET) designed to promote upcoming events in the community. If your organization has an event you think we should know about, please email us at hearsay@whrv.org with the event time, date, location, price, brief description, and contact person information and we’ll let you know if a Spotlight is available.

Recent Awards
In June 2004, "HearSay with Cathy Lewis" won the Virginia Association of Broadcasters Award for Best Radio Documentary or Public Affairs Show. In July 2004 "Port Folio Weekly" named Cathy the Best Radio Personality in Hampton Roads. She was also runner up for the 2004 "Hampton Roads Monthly" Best Radio Personality.
