From the Headlines: Trash Talk
We take a look at the top stories making news in Hampton Roads including the on-going conversation on "flow control". The Southeastern Public Service Authority (SPSA) favors adoption of ordinances dictating that all garbage go to the agency's landfill for disposal. Waste haulers and other business officials argue that would create a government-approved monopoly.

Segment A: Doing Unto Others
We’ll talk to some local residents who are doing good deeds for others and encouraging you to do the same. Guests include Cheryl Jennings, a single mother of three who volunteers to increase literacy in her community through AmeriCorps. Ms. Jennings has been presented with the group’s first annual Robert E. Wone Award for Exemplary Service.
Segment B: A Year of Living Biblically
A.J. Jacobs is a New York Times bestselling author, Esquire editor and self-described human guinea pig. In his latest book, The Year of Living Biblically, Jacobs recounts a year he spent following every rule in the Bible as closely as possible. Tune in to hear how well a modern man living in New York City was able to follow the big rules, like the Ten Commandments, and the more obscure, like not wearing clothes of mixed fibers.
