FROM THE HEADLINES: THE WAR IN IRAQ
The conflict has now claimed the lives of 2,500 American troops. As the death toll and the price tag of the War in Iraq continue to rise, we want to know how you feel about the war effort. Is it time to set a deadline for a pullout? And what is it like back on American soil for the men and women who served? Cathy talks with Dr. Steve Yetiv, Professor of Political Science at Old Dominion University, First Lieutenant Russell Britt, Post-Deployment Health Reassessment Program Manager for the Virginia Army National Guard, and Dr. John Mason, Administrator for Outpatient Counseling Services at the Hampton-Newport News Community Services Board. We'll also visit with producer Steve James and discuss the new documentary "The War Tapes", a compelling film capturing the experiences of the war from a soldier's eye view on the front lines.
