Virginia Public Radio’s Assembly Conversations series returns this year, and will focus on important issues related to state governance and the role played by citizens who are affected by the law-making process in Richmond. The hour-long programs will explore timely topics including education, the state’s environment, health care, transportation, public safety,the impact of decisions made in Richmond on Virginia localities, the budget process and fiscal responsibilities faced by the Commonwealth, conversations with the governor and other elected officials as well as other relevant issues of statewide interest. The program will air in place of On Point each Thursday at 11am on WHRV, and runs through March 15th. We hope you’ll enjoy this important and relevant programming.
