WHRO’s SPOOKY “HAUNTS” NO. 3 HALLOWEEN DOWNLOAD ON iTUNES
Norfolk: Halloween Haunts, a series of short vignettes aired on public radio stations WHRO 89.5FM and WHRO 90.3FM, highlighting some of Virginia’s enduring ghosts and ghostly legends, ranked third in Halloween download popularity by those visiting the popular iTunes Music Store.
Within the first two weeks of Halloween Haunts being offered on iTunes, the series was the third most popular download in the Halloween category. iTunes, a digital media player application for playing and organizing digital music and video files, has gained and maintained a international reputation for accessibility.
Michelle Harrell, producer and host of the scary vignettes, says, “We’re really excited about Halloween Haunts being accepted. It’s WHRO’s first podcast to be picked up by iTunes – and to be ranked third of all the Halloween related material is nothing short of a thrill!”
