Technology Educator of the Year

i.e. - Classroom Teacher
This award recognizes outstanding educators from C.I.I. Member and C.I.I. Service Participant schools and divisions who effectively use technology with students. If you wish to be considered, or wish to nominate someone else for this award, the following must be submitted (RUBRIC– http://www.whro.org/cii/EIT_rubric_Educator.asp):
1. This completed application form. Excellence in Technology Award Nomination Form
2. A one-page description of a project, teaching unit, or curriculum the educator has taught which utilizes technology. Describe how the technology is used, why the technology is necessary, and how the project affected the students. Include evidence of success and measureable data. Please also include other ways the educator has impacted the school or community through the use or planning of technology.
3. A one-page signed letter of recommendation from a supervisor or peer who is familiar with the educator’s work. If peer letter submitted, must be endorsed by supervisor.
Technology Integrator of the Year

i.e. - ITRT, Media Specialist, Assistive Technology
This award recognizes outstanding integrators from C.I.I. Member and C.I.I. Service Participant schools and divisions who effectively support teachers’ integration of technology into the classroom. If you wish to be considered, or wish to nominate someone else for this award, the following must be submitted (RUBRIC– http://www.whro.org/cii/EIT_rubric_Integrator.asp):
1. This completed application form. Excellence in Technology Award Nomination Form
2. A one-page description of a project the Integrator has worked on with a classroom teacher showing how the integrator supported the technology integration. Describe how the technology is used, why the technology is necessary, and how the project affected the class. Include evidence of success and measureable data. Please also include other ways the Integrator has impacted the school or community through the use or planning of technology.
3. A one-page signed letter of recommendation from a supervisor or peer who is familiar with the Integrator’s work. If peer letter submitted, must be endorsed by supervisor.
Technology Administrator of the Year

i.e. - Central or Building Level Admin.
This award recognizes outstanding administrators from C.I.I. member and C.I.I. Service Participant schools and divisions who have effectively increased the use of technology within their school/division. If you wish to be considered, or wish to nominate someone else for this award, the following must be submitted (RUBRIC- http://www.whro.org/cii/EIT_rubric_Administrator.asp):
1. This completed application form. Excellence in Technology Award Nomination Form
2. A one-page description of how the administrator has effectively increased or directed a change in the use of technology in the schools. Describe how the administrator has played a role in the implementation of technology in the classroom. Include evidence of success and measureable data. Please also include other ways the administrator has impacted the school or community through the use or planning of technology.
3. A one-page signed letter of recommendation from a supervisor, peer, or faculty member who is familiar with the administrator’s work.
